Lawmakers announced plans on Tuesday to address the problems facing Parand and Pardis cities’ – parts of the controversial Mehr Housing scheme in Tehran--, in cooperation with the ministries of energy, oil, economy, roads and urban development and interior. According to ICANA, the Majlis’ Commission on urban affairs has formed a task force to review the reasons for delays in the completion of the projects, contracting issues, the final price of units and shortages in funds.
