Iran Mercantile Exchange’s industrial and mining trading board witnessed the offering of 12,000 tons of aluminum oxide by Iran Alumina Company on Wednesday.
The company also offered 100 tons of billets and 1,000 tons of alloy ingots on the same board. In addition, 1,270 tons of rebars by Isfahan Steel Company and 1,100 tons of hot-rolled steel sheets by Navard Company were offered there, the IME reported.
Iran Central Plateau Iron Ore Mines Complex offered 55,000 tons of iron ore on the export trading board, which also witnessed the offering of 77,000 tons of bitumen by Jey Company, 5,000 tons of bitumen by Black Gold Bitumen Company, 5,000 tons of bitumen by Tabriz Oil Refining Company and 1,000 tons of bitumen by Sepahan Insulation and Bitumen Company. Furthermore, 990 tons of insulation were offered on the same board.
The oil and petrochemical trading board saw 42,100 tons of bitumen, 19,985 tons of chemicals, 2,000 tons of sulfur and 280 tons of argon.
And 500 tons of soybeans were supplied on the agricultural trading floor.
Overall, more than 237,000 tons of goods were offered in IME’s spot market.
