The first international conference on banking technology was held in the Persian Gulf Kish resort on Saturday, IRNA reported. Reviewing the latest in electronic payment systems, reassessing Visa and MasterCard membership, international electronic payment infrastructure, data processing, and facilitating international transactions using debit and credit cards were the highlights of the one-day event. The meeting discussed ways to help enable Iran’s banking sector to reengage with the international business community.
