Iran Mercantile Exchange played host to more than 124,000 tons of commodities on Sunday. As IME reported, 10 kg of saffron, 4,000 tons of durum wheat, 1,000 tons of soybean flakes, 450 tons of white sugar, 1,050 tons of unprocessed vegetable oil as well as 200 tons of imported rice were supplied on the agricultural trading floor. The Industrial and mining trading floor saw the offering of 1,000 tons of copper cathode, 1,000 tons of copper wire, 20,000 tons of low-grade copper, 140 tons of molybdenum sulfur and 18 tons of precious metals concentrates by National Iranian Copper Industries Company. The floor also featured 100 tons of copper wire, which was offered by World Copper Company. Around 69,300 tons of bitumen, 10,000 tons of lube-cut oil, 10,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 3,270 tons of petrochemicals and 650 tons of granulated sulfur were offered on the oil and petrochemical trading floor. Elsewhere, the export trading floor recorded the offering of 1,500 tons of bitumen and 500 tons of roof insulation for export purposes.
