MCC May Cut Rate

Economy Minister Ali Tayyebnia says the Money and Credit Council could cut interest rates at its Tuesday’s meeting. He said the council, an affiliate of the central bank, will also decide on lowering    foreign exchange rates, ICANA reported. The banking reform bill is ready and will be sent to Majlis by the end of October, he noted. MCC once lowered interest rates back in April.
