More than 167,000 tons of commodities were offered in Iran Mercantile Exchange’s spot market on Wednesday, including over 110,000 tons of bitumen both for local and foreign customers, the IME reported.

The oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to 61,000 tons of various grades of bitumen offered by Pasargad Oil Company, 34,100 tons of bitumen by Jey Oil Refining Company, 20,441 tons of chemicals, 12,000 tons of lube-cut oil, 800 tons of sulfur as well as 280 tons of argon gas.

The export trading floor featured 22,000 tons of various grades of bitumen by Jey Oil Refining Company, 1,500 tons of bitumen 6070 and 200 tons of roof insulation.

Iran Aluminum Company supplied 300 tons of aluminum billets and 1,000 tons of aluminum ingots on the industrial and mining trading floor. Also, more than 4,500 tons of rebar bundles and 142 tons of I-beams by Isfahan Steel Company in addition to 300 tons of metallurgical coke were offered on the same floor.

Elsewhere, the agricultural trading floor saw the offering of 4,000 tons of durum wheat, 1,000 tons of soybean flakes, 850 tons of corn, 450 tons of white sugar, 200 tons of rice and 100 tons of cotton seeds.
