Iran Insurance Company Sunday hosted delegates from the British United Insurance Broker and Japanese insurer, Sompo. According to the public relations office of Iran Insurance, the visits aim to discuss and promote insurance cooperation post-sanctions. Developing reinsurance services and finding solutions to the sector’s problems-- especially for property and life insurance -- were among topics of discussion. UIB is planning to hold training courses for Iranian insurers in the fields of aviation, oil, gas, and petrochemical services. Iran Insurance and SOMPO also reached an agreement to enhance cooperation over Property and Life insurance services. Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance Inc is among the largest property and casualty insurers in the world and is the second largest in Japan. UIB is also an independent, international insurance and reinsurance firm headquartered in London and offices worldwide.
