Iran Mercantile Exchange’s industrial and mining trading floor played host to 1,500 tons of copper cathodes, 1,000 tons of copper wire, 20,000 tons of low-graded copper, 140 tons of molybdenum sulfur as well as 18 tons of precious metals concentrates from National Iranian Copper Industries Company on Sunday. The floor also witnessed the offering of 270 tons of copper wire from World Copper Company, and 300 tons of metallurgical coke. Elsewhere, the oil and petrochemical trading floor featured more than 52,000 tons of various grades of bitumen, 17,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 16,000 tons of lube-cut oil, 2,398 tons of petrochemicals as well as 100 tons of sulfur. The export trading floor just recorded the offering of 3,220 tons of bitumen. Finally, 2,000 tons of soybean flakes, 500 tons of white sugar, 250 tons of corn and 210 tons of rice were offered on the agricultural trading floor. All in all, close to 113,000 tons of commodities were supplied in IME’s spot market.
