Iran Mercantile Exchange featured close to 62,000 tons of commodities offered by nine local suppliers on the export trading floor on Tuesday. According to IME, 50,000 tons of various grades of bitumen by Jey Oil Refining Company, 7,000 tons of the same commodity by Asphalt and Bitumen West Company and 4,000 tons by other suppliers in addition to 400 tons of roof insulation were also offered on the export floor. The oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to 53,818 tons of polymers and 28,100 tons various grades of bitumen. The industrial and mining trading floor witnessed the offering of 2,100 tons of aluminum ingots of 99.75% purity by Almahdi Aluminum Company as well as more than 1,800 tons of rebar bundles. Elsewhere, 4,000 tons of durum wheat, 200 tons of white sugar, 250 tons of corn and 100 tons of unprocessed vegetable oil were offered on the agricultural trading floor. Overall, about 227,000 tons of commodities were supplied in IME’s spot market.
