Iran Mercantile Exchange’s industrial and mining trading floor witnessed the offering of 4,000 tons of copper cathodes priced at 177,217 rials per kg, 3,500 tons of copper wire at the base price of 184,552 rials per kg, 20,000 tons of low-graded copper, 140 tons of molybdenum sulfur and 18 tons of precious metals concentrates by National Iranian Copper Industries Company on Sunday.

In addition, 270 tons of copper cathodes by World Copper Company at the base price of 185,102 rials per kg, and 770 tons of I-beam by Isfahan Steel Company were also listed on the board of the same floor.

The oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to 77,300 tons of various grades of bitumen by Jey Oil Refining Company, 28,700 tons of bitumen by Pasargad Oil Company, 36,800 tons of bitumen, 16,000 tons of lube-cut oil, 5,030 tons of petrochemicals as well as 150 tons of sulfur lumps.

The export trading floor recorded the offering of 700 tons of roof insulation and 6,640 tons of various grades of bitumen.

Elsewhere, 5,000 tons of wheat, 2,000 tons of unprocessed vegetable oil, 1,000 tons of white sugar, 250 tons of corn and 40 tons of rice were supplied on the agricultural trading floor.

Overall, more than 211,000 tons of commodities were offered in IME’s spot market.
