More than 593,000 tons of commodities worth over $202.3 million were offered on Iran Mercantile Exchange’s trading floors on Saturday. The oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to about 314,500 tons of goods worth more than $108 million, both for local and foreign customers.  Some 136,660 tons of various grades of bitumen, 39,647 tons of polymers, 85,120 tons of vacuum bottoms, 35,500 tons of lube-cut oil, 15,118 tons of chemicals, 550 tons of roof insulation, 1,800 tons of sulfur and 100 tons of argon gas were among the commodities offered there. The agricultural trading floor witnessed the offering of 5,800 tons of white sugar, 215 tons of corn, 110 tons of unprocessed vegetable oil as well as 70 tons of rice. The local and export mining and industrial trading floor recorded the offering of 272,781 tons of commodities worth more than $90.35 million, including 144,740 tons of steel sections, 110,000 tons of iron ore, 9,070 tons of copper, 130 tons of molybdenum sulfur, 8,840 tons of precious metals concentrate and 50 kg of gold bullions.
