Iran Insurance Company will soon launch new web-based services for supplemental health insurance, the managing director said. Mahmoud Amrollahi said electronic contracting system and electronic data exchange are the key features of the new service; the company’s website quoted him as saying. “In the past, individuals had to personally visit the insurance offices to get information on supplemental treatment while the electronic system will only demand patients’ ID cards,” he said. “Besides, the system provides names of medical centers in contract with the firm with detailed reports on treatment expenses and connects those interested directly with the financial department of the company,”
