More than 42,000 tons of bitumen were offered on Iran Mercantile Exchange’s export trading floor on Saturday. As IME reported, the floor also played host to 100 tons of roof insulation. Elsewhere, the oil and petrochemical trading floor saw the offering of 92,800 tons of bitumen, 540 tons of petrochemicals, 12,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 11,000 tons of lube-cut oil as well as 800 tons of sulfur. The industrial and mining trading floor featured 5,000 tons of aluminum ingots of 99.75% purity offered by Hormozal Aluminum Company and priced at 57,020 rials per kg in addition to 1,100 tons of rebar bundles. Moreover, 5,000 tons of wheat, 2,000 tons of unprocessed vegetable oil, 1,000 tons of white sugar, 130 tons of rice and 250 tons of corn were supplied on the agricultural trading floor. All in all, close to 200,000 tons of commodities were offered in IME’s spot market.
