TEDPIX Pulls Back 0.37%

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index dipped 241.5 points or 0.37% to stand at 64,225.8 on Monday. According to TSE data, the Price Index lost 95.5 points or 0.37% to settle at 25,389.2. The First Market Index retreated 177.5 points or 0.39% to close at 45,486.3. The Second Market Index fell 481.6 points or 0.35% to reach 137,516.4. The Industry Index was off 213.6 points or 0.4% to settle at 52,905.6. The Free Float Index tumbled 391.23 points or 0.54 to reach 72,288.4. The TSE 30 Index dropped 20 points or 0.7% to hit at 2,833.3; and the TSE 50 Index was down 8.5 points or 0.32% to reach 2,636.7. More than 499 million shares changed hands valued at $27 million.  About 61% of listed companies dragged down the benchmark. Ghadir Investment Company with -86.25 points was the biggest laggard followed by Behran Oil Company and Jam Petrochemical Company with -71 and -25 points respectively. Informatics Service Corporation with 69.36 points gave the biggest boost to TEDPIX followed by Eghtesad Novin Bank and Zamyad Company with 12 and 3 points respectively.
