Iran Fara Bourse’s benchmark inched up 1.59 points or 0.22% on Wednesday to close at 728.39. More than 220 million securities changed hands in 12,238 transactions valued at $18.35. The highest rise in shares’ value was recorded for Kowsar Insurance Company, Taknar Copper Company and GTS Iranian Company. On the other hand, Minoo Group, Hormozgan Steel Company and Northwest Housing Investment Company saw the highest retreat in value. Isfahan Steel Company, Iranian Petrochemical Investment Group, Bank Day, Sina Port and Maritime Company and Iranol Company were on investors’ radar. Etemad Fund once again registered the highest daily trade volume among listed exchange-traded funds. Some 25,430 leasing bonds of Mapna Group were sold on Wednesday.
