IFX Snaps Losing Streak

Iran Fara Bourse’s overall index snapped its losing streak and notched up 0.22 point or 0.03% on Monday to close at 735.88. The IFX was mostly boosted by Marun Petrochemical Company’s performance. More than 70.3 million shares were traded valued at $28.71 million. Iranian National Petrochemical Investment Group registered the highest daily trade volume with 4.7 million among listed companies at IFB. Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Company filed the highest daily trade value. Isfahan Steel Company, Iranian National Petrochemical Investment Group, Bank Day, Sina Port and Maritime Company, Tehran Oil Refining Company and Bank Hekmat were on investors’ radar. Shirvan Sugar Company and Kharazmi IT Development Company recorded the highest growth in shares’ value. Zayanderood Housing Investment Company’s rights offerings, Niroo Sarmayeh Company and Tehran Housing Investment Company’s rights offerings registered the highest retreat in value.
