Iran Mercantile Exchange played host to 200 tons of zinc ingots offered by local suppliers on the industrial and mining trading floor on Saturday.
The floor recorded the offering of 100 tons of zinc ingots of 99.97% purity priced at 70,000 rials per kg by Sazand Rooy Company as well as 100 tons of zinc ingots of 99.98% purity at the base price of 71,000 rials per kg by Zanjan Zinc Khales Sazan Industries Company. Some 48,700 tons of bitumen by Pasargad Oil Company, 34,300 tons of bitumen by Jey Oil Refining Company, 19,697 tons of petrochemicals, 7,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 2,000 tons of lube-cut oil, 700 tons of sulfur and 200 tons of metallurgical coke were among other commodities offered on the same floor, IME reported.
The export trading floor witnessed the offering of 5,000 tons of bitumen 6070 and 200 tons of roof insulation for potential customers overseas.
Elsewhere, the agricultural trading floor played host to 14,000 tons of wheat, 4,000 tons of white sugar, 2,000 tons of soybean meal and 2,000 tons of virgin vegetable oil.
All in all, close to 140,000 tons of commodities were supplied on IME’s spot market.
