More than 430,000 tons of commodities were offered by local suppliers on Iran Mercantile Exchange’s spot market on Wednesday. As IME reported, the industrial and mining trading floor witnessed the offering of 70,000 steel slab C priced at 12,020 rials per kg and 5,000 tons of steel slab C in another cargo at the base price of 13,500 rials per kg, which were offered by Khuzestan Steel Company. Almahdi Hormozal Aluminum Company supplied 1,400 tons of aluminum ingots of 99.75% purity, 800 tons of billet and 1,000 tons of aluminum alloy ingots. The agricultural trading floor played host to 16,600 tons of wheat, 8,200 tons of corn, 4,000 tons of white sugar, 2,000 tons of vegetable oil and 2,000 tons of soybean meal flakes. Elsewhere, 63,000 tons of polymers were filed on the oil and petrochemical trading floor, including styrene butadiene rubber, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, different grades of polyethylene, polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride. The floor also featured 77,200 tons of various grades of bitumen, 32,500 tons of vacuum bottoms and 8,000 tons of high-density lube-cut oil. Finally, the export trading floor played host to 31,790 tons of various grades of bitumen and 7,000 tons of sulfur lumps for export purposes.
