Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company filed 55,000 tons of iron ore with the base price of $37 per ton on Iran Mercantile Exchange’s export trading floor on Wednesday. The company also announced another 55,000 tons of the same commodity in stock for export, IME reported.
The floor also played host to 6,500 tons of bitumen 6070, which was offered by local suppliers.
Close to 30,000 tons of steel bloom, priced at 12,020 rials per kg offered by Khuzestan Steel Company, 1,100 tons of hot-rolled steel sheets, 726 tons of I-beam, 500 tons of mixed-rebar bundles, 500 tons of aluminum ingots of 99.75-percent purity and 2,100 tons of metallurgical coke were among commodities registered on the industrial and mining trading floor.
Elsewhere, the oil and petrochemical trading floor featured 48,900 tons of various grades of bitumen offered by Pasargad Oil Company, 42,300 tons of various grades of bitumen by Jey Oil Company, 8,500 tons of vacuum bottom by Shiraz Oil Company as well as 22,066 tons of chemicals.
The agricultural trading floor witnessed the offering of 8,000 tons of white sugar and 4,000 tons of durum wheat for potential local customers.
In sum, about 361,000 tons of various commodities were offered on IME’s spot market on Wednesday.
