About 100,000 tons of granulated iron ore were offered by Sangan Iron Ore Complex on Iran Mercantile Exchange’s export trading floor on Monday.
The export trading floor also played host to 20,400 tons of various grades of bitumen, the IME reported.
Elsewhere, the oil and petrochemical trading floor recorded the offering of 85,400 tons of various grades of bitumen, 13,917 tons of polymers and 2,500 tons of slap wax. In addition, various grades of polyethylene and polypropylene were also listed on this floor.
Esfahan Steel Company offered 35,200 tons of hot-rolled steel B, 46,000 tons of hot-rolled steel C, 7,000 tons of cold-rolled steel B, 6,000 tons of galvanized sheets G and 4,000 tons of tin-plated sheets on the industrial and mining trading floor. Moreover, 30,000 tons of steel bloom and 800 tons of different grades of rebar bundles were offered by Khuzestan Steel Company. The floor also featured 800 tons of aluminum billet and 1,000 tons of aluminum alloys by Iran Aluminum Company along with 100 tons of zinc ingots.
The agricultural trading floor played host to 28,200 tons of corn, 8,000 tons of white sugar, 4,000 tons of durum wheat, 603 tons of date, 500 tons of crude sunflower oil and 500 tons of crude soybean oil.
In sum, around 454,000 tons of different commodities were offered in a bustling trading day at IME on Monday.
