Iran Fara Bourse’s benchmark IFX notched down 11.36 points or 1.41% to close at 791.88 on Saturday.

More than 60 million securities traded at IFB in 11,041 transactions valued at $15.62 million, IFB reported.

Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group registered the highest trade volume and value among listed companies.

The highest rise in shares’ value was recorded for Afranet Company and Hormozgan Steel Company. On the other hand, the GTS Iranian Company, Iranol Oil Company and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines saw the biggest retreat in shares value.

The highest trade volume among listed exchange-traded funds was recorded for Etemad Fund. The fixed-income securities market saw the trade of 52,265 Murabaha securities.

The IFX rose 14.2% during the month that ended July 21 compared with the prior month. The IFB market cap was also up 8.3% during the same period.

More than 5.67 billion securities traded at IFB in 404,000 transactions valued at about $911 million. Monthly trade volume and value posted 82% and 16% growth respectively.

Chemicals with 24% of total trade volume topped other industries followed by the banking sector and petroleum with 15% and 13% respectively.
