After Bank Tejarat canceled its general meeting, Bank Saderat also called off its extraordinary meeting. The election of its board of directors was on the agenda of Saderat’s meeting, but the bank did hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, when the shareholders decided on 45 rials of dividends per share. Soureh Hall at the Islamic Development Organization on Hafez Street hosted the event. Bank Tejarat was to hold its annual meeting on July 21 while Bank Mellat also announced that it will hold its annual general meeting soon. Saderat, Tejarat and Mellat are the largest listed banks on Tehran Stock Exchange. Their shares have recently gained due to the signing of the nuclear deal between Iran and the six world powers, which heralds the lifting of sanctions against these banks.
