Iran Mercantile Exchange featured various steel products, aluminum and zinc for potential customers in the spot market on Monday. As IME reported, the industrial and mining trading floor played host to 29,586 tons of I-beam offered by Esfahan Steel Company. The company also offered 3,487 tons of rebar bundles. About 550 tons of rebar bundles and 500 tons of scrap steel sections were offered by Azarbaijan Steel Company. In addition, 4,000 tons of aluminum ingots of 99.7-percent purity by Hormozgan Steel Company, 100 tons of zinc alloy of 99.98-percent purity by Zanjan Zinc Industries Company, 90,500 tons of various grades of bitumen, 25,000 tons of vacuum bottoms as well as 2,832 tons of polymers were also supplied on the same floor. The agricultural trading floor registered the offering of 12,725 tons of corn, 35,000 tons of white sugar, 4,000 tons of durum wheat and 4,100 tons of imported rice. Close to 1,400 tons of various grades of bitumen and 100 tons of roof insulation were offered on the export trading floor. Overall, more than 214,000 tons of various commodities were supplied in IME’s spot market.
