Iran Mercantile Exchange featured agricultural commodities offered by both local and overseas suppliers on the agricultural trading floor on Monday.
As IME reported, the floor played host to about 3,300 tons of rice from Thailand, 3,000 tons of rice from Argentina, 1,000 tons of Indian rice, 1,200 tons of rice from Uruguay, 10,000 tons of white sugar, 9,000 tons of corn and 4,000 tons of durum wheat.
The industrial and mining trading floor witnessed the offering of 3,000 tons of aluminum ingots of 99.75-percent purity by Almahdi Hormozal Aluminum Company, 2,000 tons of aluminum ingots of 99.75-percent purity by Iran Aluminum Company, 726 tons of rebar A3-12 and 60 tons of copper wire.
About 54,000 tons of various grades of bitumen, 21,095 tons of chemicals and 280 tons of liquefied argon gas were supplied on the oil and petrochemical trading floor. O-Xylene, styrene monomer, acetic acid, terephthalic acid, linear alkyl benzene, industrial urea, caustic soda, diethanolamine, diethyl glycol, sodium carbonate, monoethylene glycol, monomer vinyl acetate, and normal butadiene were among the main chemicals offered there.
The export trading floor witnessed the offering of 16,100 tons of various grades of bitumen and 240 tons of roof insulation.
Overall, 132,401 tons of commodities were offered in IME’s spot market on Monday.
