Auto makers in Iran made more than 520,000 vehicles including passenger cars, pickups, trucks, minibuses and buses in the first half of the year starting March 21, 2014. The figure shows a 74.3 percent rise compared to the same period last year. The industry produced over 442,000 passenger cars during the period, showing a 74 percent increase, 70,900 pickups, 30 minibuses, 193 buses and 8,000 trucks.
