IFX Edges Up

Iran Fara Bourse witnesses an upsurge in its main index IFX at Sunday’s close mostly on positive contribution of Maroon Petrochemical Complex.

As IFB reported, the benchmark inched up 2.49 points or 0.33 percent to close at 759.07. More than 142 million securities were traded in 25,485 transactions valued at $18.15 million.

Esfahan Steel Company with 13.2 million shares registered the highest trade volume and Jam Petrochemical Company with $1.19 million recorded the highest trade value.

Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company and MPC saw the highest rise in their shares’ value. Shahrood Industrial and Mining Company, Tehran Oil Refining Companies’ rights offerings and Hamkaran System posted the highest retreat in their shares’ value.

The fixed-income market witnessed the trade of 18,370 leasing bonds.
