Iran Mercantile Exchange featured various grades of aluminum and polymers on Tuesday.
Close to 2,000 tons of aluminum ingots of 99.75-percent purity by Almahdi Hormozal Aluminum Company and 2,000 tons of aluminum ingots of 99.75-percent purity by Hormozgan Aluminum Complex were supplied on the industrial and mining trading floor. Iran Aluminum Company offered 1,000 tons of aluminum billet and 1,000 tons of aluminum alloy on the same floor. Khuzestan Steel Company offered 49,000 tons of steel bloom priced at 12,127 rials per kg in addition to 15,000 tons of the same commodity at the base price of 12,020 rials per kg.
The oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to 68,514 tons of various polymers, including styrene butadiene rubber, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, polyethylene terephthalate, linear low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene, polystyrene, chemical polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride. Moreover, 53,350 tons of various grades of bitumen and 17,000 tons of vacuum bottoms were listed on the same floor.
The export trading floor witnessed the offering of 79,950 tons of various grades of bitumen and 7500 tons of sulfur lumps.
Around 23,275 tons of corn, 10,000 tons of white sugar, 14,500 tons of imported rice and 4,000 tons of durum wheat were supplied on the agricultural trading floor.
Overall, more than 472,000 tons of commodities were offered in IME’s spot market.
