In a lazy trading day at Iran Mercantile Exchange’s spot market, close to 160,000 tons of commodities were offered on Saturday. As IME reported, the agricultural trading floor played host to 11,000 tons of white sugar, 3,000 tons of durum wheat, 3,500 tons of imported rice, 3,000 tons of rapeseed meal flakes and 2,090 tons of corn. The oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to 31,000 tons of chemicals, including hydrochloric acid, heavy aromatic distillate, p-Xylene, polyethylene, polybutadiene rubber, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, toluene diisocyanate and caustic soda. The floor also witnessed the offering of 80,000 tons of bitumen. The export trading floor featured 23,000 tons of various grades of bitumen and 300 tons of roof insulation.
