Iran Fara Bourse’s benchmark wavered between gains and losses on Wednesday before it inched up 0.7 point or 0.1 percent at the day’s close helped by the positive contribution of oil refining companies. More than 160 million securities changed hands valued at $107.8 million, IFB reported. The highest trade volume was registered for Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group, with more than 19 million shares. The highest trade value was recorded for Tehran Oil Refining Company. Lavan Oil Refining Company and Novin Insurance Company experienced the highest uptrend in their shares value. However, Niroo Sarmayeh Company and Kharazmi IT Development Company filed the highest retreat in their shares’ value. The fixed-income market witnessed the trade of 1.88 million leasing bonds. Atlas Fund recorded the highest trade volume with more than 30,800 of its shares being traded. Mortgage-backed securities posted a fresh retreat in their prices, which oscillated between 680,000 and 710,000 rials.
