Iran Mercantile Exchange witnessed the offering of more than 27,000 tons of copper in the spot market on Sunday trade.
As IME reported, the industrial and mining trading floor featured 4,000 tons of copper cathodes by National Iranian Copper Industries Company priced at 183,576 rials per kg. In addition, 3,500 tons of copper wire at the base price of 190,615 rials per kg, 20,000 tons of low-graded copper, 200 tons of molybdenum sulfur, as well as 12 tons of precious metals concentrate were supplied by NICICO. The board also recorded the offering of 270 tons of copper wire by World Copper Company at the base price of 191,165 rials per kg and 3,000 tons of aluminum ingot of 99.7-percent purity by Almahdi Hormozal Aluminum Company priced at 63,760 rials per kg. Zanjan Zinc Industries Company supplied 100 tons of zinc ingots of 99.99-percent purity at the base price of 76,500 rials per kg.
The oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to 39,800 tons of various grades of bitumen, 27,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 6,000 tons of lube-cut oil, 1,350 tons of chemicals and 800 tons of sulfur.
Close to 26,700 tons of various grades of bitumen, 7,500 tons of sulfur lumps and 1,100 tons of roof insulation were offered on the export trading floor.
The agricultural trading floor featured 32,000 tons of corn, 11,000 tons of white sugar, 7,385 tons of rice, 4,000 tons of durum wheat and 20 tons of soybean meal flakes.
Overall, more than 195,000 tons of commodities were offered on IME spot market on Sunday.
