Iran Mercantile Exchange featured granulated iron ore, bitumen, sulfur lumps and roof insulation in a bustling trading day on Monday, IME reported.

Mishdovan Iron Ore Complex offered 55,000 tons of granulated iron ore with the base price of $28 per ton. The board also registered the offering of 7,500 tons of sulfur lumps by Abadan Oil Refining Company priced at $60 per ton, 3,200 tons of bitumen 6070 and 100 tons of roof insulation.

The oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to 72,100 tons of various grades of bitumen, 5,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 2,822 tons of polymers and 500 tons of granulated sulfur.

The industrial and mining trading floor filed the offering of 1,500 tons of aluminum billet 7-6063 as well as 100 tons of billet 8-6063 by Iran Aluminum Company with the base price of 71,080 rials per kg for both. The company also offered 1,020 tons of alloy ingots on the same floor.

More than 67,500 tons of corn, 11,405 tons of white sugar, 5,630 tons of rice, 4,000 tons of wheat and 235 tons of animal feed were supplied on the agricultural trading floor.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Railways offered 78 tons of scrap metals in IME’s secondary market.

Overall, close to 245,000 tons of commodities were offered in IME’s spot and secondary market on Monday.
