IFB Edges Down

The gloom hanging over the listed industries at Iran Fara Bourse slashed expectations about their performance. The main index IFX edged down 4.85 points or 0.69 percent to end at 693.03. More than 73 million securities were traded at IFB on Sunday trading valued at $57.9 million. Maroun Petrochemical Company with around 14 million shares worth $1.47 million recorded the highest daily trade volume and value. The highest price rise was registered for EN Investment Company, TukaRail Company’s rights offering and GTS Iranian Company. Maroun Petrochemical Company, Northwest Housing Investment Company and Zangan Zinc Industry Company recorded the highest decline in their shares’ value. The fixed-income market witnessed the trade of 400,000 participatory bonds. Etemad Fund registered the highest trade volume among listed exchange-traded funds at IFB with the trade of 676,970 units.
