Over 120 exhibitors from Iran and other countries will participate at the first international exhibition of exchanges, banks, Insurance, capital market and privatization (EBEX 2014) on Kish Island, which will be held on October 21-24 at the Kish International Conference Center, IRNA reported.

More than 120 participants will take part in the EBEX 2014, and based on the exhibition’s profile, various sectors in the capital market including funds, banks, financial institutions, asset managers, brokerages, investment banks, securities as well as the officials of investment plans in energy, tourism and construction projects.

Given the slump in the capital market, this event is geared to introduce endless opportunities in Iran, a new frontier market for all portfolio investors, financial institutions and other investors, who are interested in Iran’s attractive market.

The 4-day event will also introduce the country’s financial structures, capital market’s potential as well as the insurance industry. As the economic landscape changes and the potential risk factor reduces along with corporate transparency, it is crucial for investors to invest their capital in Iran’s luring market, the report said.

Foreign investors are able to take advantage of companies listed in the Tehran Stock Exchange, banking sector services and other facilities with the advent of this show. In addition, Iran Mercantile Exchange is planning to highlight its capabilities as a safe platform for suppliers and traders to attract potential emerging market investors.

Within the expo, 10 specialized meetings will be held and the experts and executives of the Iran Privatization Organization, the Securities and Exchange Organization, National Petrochemical Company, insurance and investment companies will attend the meetings.
