Derivatives Workshop in Switzerland

Iran Financial Center is holding an options and futures workshop in Switzerland to train Iranian financiers. The two-day workshop is a joint project between the center and the Centro di Studi Bancari in the southern city of Lugano. It will be held on July 27-28. Applicants have till June 24 to submit their requests. IFC is working to increase knowledge of derivatives – securities that are in essence contracts on one or more underlying assets – as Iran’s financial markets expand the instruments they have on offer. Participants will also visit the Expo Milano 2015 – the universal exhibition that Milan hosts from May 1 to October 31, 2015. Over 140 participating countries will show the best of their technology in providing a sustainable future. Iran is also a participant. The expo also involves international organizations and expects to welcome over 20 million visitors.
