Zimbabwe Seeks Mining Cooperation

Zimbabwe has called on Iran to share its expertise with the African country in mining research and development, said the head of the executive board at the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization. “Zimbabwe School of Mines has asked the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization to join a project to produce petrochemicals from coal gas,” Eghtesad-News quoted Mehdi Karbasian as saying. According to Karbasian, who is also the deputy industry minister, IMIDRO is going to get petrochemical companies to engage in preliminary talks with Zimbabwean officials.
