Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company offered 100,000 tons of granulated iron ore, priced at $33 per metric ton, on the Iran Mercantile Exchange export trading floor on Wednesday.

According to IME public relations, the export trading floor also played host to 16,600 tons of bitumen, as well as 700 tons of roof insulation.

The industrial and mining trading floor witnessed the offering of 1,500 tons of billet and 5,680 tons of alloy ingot by Iran Aluminium Company, as well as 1,400 tons of ingot 99.7-percent purity by Almahdi Hormozal Aluminum Company. In addition, 10,120 tons of rebar bundles A3, 14 and 28 by Khorasan Steel Company, 2,200 tons of rebar bundles A3, 16 and 28 by Persian Steel Company, and 1,452 tons of mixed rebar bundles by Esfahan Steel Company were listed on the board. Mouteh Gold Complex offered 10 kg of gold bullions on the same floor.

Moreover, 140,700 tons of corn, 8,140 tons of rice, 300 tons of white sugar, and 20 kg of saffron were offered on the agricultural trading floor.

Elsewhere, the oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to 15,616 tons of chemicals, 25,400 tons of various grades of bitumen, 3,500 tons of sulfur, 13,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 1,500 tons of lube-cut oil, and 280 tons of liquefied argon.

The IME's secondary market played host to 3,000 tons of scrap metal by Islamic Republic of Iran Railways.

All in all, more than 500,000 tons of commodities were listed on IME spot market in a bustling trading day on Wednesday.
