Jam Petrochemical Company and Maroun Petrochemical Company outperformed and left the most positive impact on the Iran Fara Bourse benchmark on Monday trading, IFB Public relations reported.

Catching up with the Tehran Stock Exchange, the IFX piled up tiny gains at the end of a seesaw trading day, and edged up 0.04 points or 0.01 percent to settle at 726.67.

More than 98 million securities in 17,620 transaction rounds changed hands, valued at a total of about $13.52 million.

The highest trade volume and value was registered for Eghtesad Novin Investment Company, with more than 10 million shares, valued at more than $423,000.

Fan Ava Company, Novin Insurance Company, and Housing Investment Company as investors’ safe havens recorded the highest price surge; however, Lavan Oil Refining Company, Tehran Oil Refining Company, and Iranol Oil Company experienced the highest retreat among other listed companies at the IFB.

IFB’s Modern Financial Market was host to 30,000 rental bonds of Rightel Company, which topped the highest trade volume in fixed-income securities.

In addition, Nasim Fund with 100,800 shares recorded the highest trade volume among the IFB exchange traded funds.
