National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICIC), World Copper Company (WCC), and Kaveh Copper Industries Company (KCIC) offered different grades of copper at Iran Mercantile Exchange’s spot market on Monday trading.
According to IME public relations, 4,000 tons of copper cathodes from the NICIC, with the base price of 206,258 rials per kg, were listed on the industrial and mining trading floor. The NICIC also offered 3,500 tons of copper wire priced at 213,352 rials per kg, 100 tons of molybdenum sulfur, and 12 tons of precious metals concentrate. Moreover, the board also recorded the offering of 270 tons of copper wire by the WCC, as well as 60 tons of copper wire by the KCIC.
The floor also played hosts to 2,200 tons of rebar bundles by Persian Steel Company, and 10 kg of gold bullions by Mouteh Gold Complex.
The agricultural trading floor witnessed the offering of 82,915 tons of corn, and 7,915 tons of rice.
Elsewhere, the oil and petrochemical trading floor registered the offering of 30,000 tons of different grades of bitumen, 13,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 1,500 tons of sulfur, 1,000 tons of slap wax, and 13,351 tons of polymers. Local petrochemical complexes also offered polyethylene, poly styrene, and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene.
The export trading floor played host to 9,000 tons of bitumen 6070, and 200 tons of roof insulation.
Overall, close to 200,000 tons of various commodities were offered at IME’s spot market.
