The Hormozgan Steel Company (HOSCO), out of 170 companies in the Persian Gulf Special Economic Zone, managed to create the highest number of jobs over the past Iranian calendar year which ended March 20, IRNA reported. “Our company created 339 jobs over the period out of a total of 1,205 new jobs in the zone,” said Abdolreza Afsordeh, a HOSCO official. More than 170 contractors and companies are active in the Persian Gulf Special Economic Zone, employing some 13,000 people.
