Bitumen suppliers offered 260,000 tons of different grades of bitumen at the export trading floor, and 40 grades of polymers were also offered at the oil and petrochemical trading floor of Iran Mercantile Exchange on Tuesday, IME public relations and foreign affairs reported.

Given the market demand, 119,000 tons of different grades of bitumen from the Jey Oil Refining Company were to be offered at the oil and petrochemical trading floor. Besides, another 71,000 tons of bitumen 60/70 and 61,000 tons of different grades of bitumen were offered by Pasargad Oil Company and Shimi Tejarat Naghshe Jahan Company respectively.

The report also said, 9,000 tons of bitumen in a variety of grades were to be offered by Black Gold Trading Development Company.

The export trading floor saw other commodities for export purposes, including 2,500 tons of slack wax, which is the feedstock for paraffin.

Furthermore, given the market demand, close to 52,000 tons of various polymers of petrochemical complexes across Iran were to be offered on the oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Among the most popular polymers offered were, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC and SBR.

Following the report, 40,400 tons of slab type C from Khouzestan Steel Company were to be offered in the form of forward contracts at the industry and mining trading floor with the base value of 15,020 rials.

In addition, 100 tons of pure zinc ingot 99.99% were to be offered by Zanjan Zinc Khalessazan Industrial Company. The base value was 76,000 rials.

In the category of agricultural commodities, 300 tons of Russian corn as well as another 200 tons from Kermanshah province were to be offered at relevant trading floor.

The report also showed almost 410,000 tons of commodities were to be offered at the spot market in the IME.
