A number of investors in Iran’s equity market gathered in front of the building of Tehran Stock Exchange in Tehran on Monday to protest alleged insider trading, corruption, irregular launching of Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), massive selloffs by institutional investors and stock’s limit up/down. Unsettled investors accuse the Securities and Exchange Organization officials of underperforming while various ambiguities surround the stock market. Some analysts are of the belief that the recently launched IPOs have drained the equity market.
