The Association of Cybersecurity and Information Exchange – affiliated with the Information Technology Organization of Iran – is planning to issue cyber insurance coverage in cooperation with the leading insurance company Bimeh Markazi (Central Insurance), deputy director of the association told ISNA on Sunday. Speaking during the inaugural ceremony of a cybersecurity exhibition in Tehran, Hadi Sajadi described cybersecurity as the modern society’s second most important need, next to its need for physical security. Sajadi asserted that his organization is taking the measure to improve security across the insurance sector. He provided no details on the process.
