The National Iranian Copper Company offered 4,000 tons of copper cathodes priced at 209,861 rials ($7.89) per kilogram at Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Sunday. The company also offered 3,500 tons of copper wire for 216,677 rials ($8.14) per kg as well as 33,000 tons of different low grade copper and 100 tons of molybdenum. Kashan Copper World Company, however, offered copper wire at a slightly higher price, that is 217,227 rials ($8.16) per kg. Other hard commodities offered at IME include 42,000 tons of bloom offered by Esfahan Steel Company as well as 3,228 tons of different sizes of iron rods offered by the same company. Traders were also offered 2,400 tons of coke and 100 tons of zinc ingots. On the soft commodities trading hall, traders had the chance to buy 300 tons of Russian flint corn and 200 tons of Indian rapeseed meal flakes.
