The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME)’s oil and petrochemical trading floor featured 54 grades of various polymers offered by local petrochemical complexes on Tuesday trading.

According to IME public relations, Styrene butadiene rubber, polyethylene terephthalate, high and low density polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, and polyvinyl chloride were among the chief commodities listed on the board. In addition, 37,300 tons of various grades bitumen, as well as 1,000 tons of sulfur were offered there.

Elsewhere, the export trading floor played host to 110,650 tons of bitumen, and 10,000 tons of granulated sulfur.

The agricultural trading floor, for its part, registered the offering of 5,000 tons of rice from Thailand, 4,400 tons of Indian rice, and 2,065 tons of rice from local provinces. Moreover, 14,780 tons of chickpea, 15,385 tons of corn, 4,000 tons of wheat, 1,520 tons of soybean meal, and 300 tons of white sugar were offered on the same floor.

Finally, Esfahan Steel Company supplied 23,980 tons of mixed-rebar bundles with the base price of 14,000 rials pr kg, 980 tons of I-beam bundles, 880 tons of rebar bundles A3, 16, 20 and 22, and 176 tons of angle and channel sections on the industrial and mining trading floor. Overall, close to 300,000 tons of various commodities were offered in IME’s spot market on Tuesday.
