The agricultural trading floor of Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) played host to more than 3,000 tons of soybean meal, 5,370 tons of corn, 3,065 tons of rice, 4,000 tons of wheat, 300 tons of rapeseed, 200 tons of chickpea, 200 tons of cubic sugar and 20 kg of saffron on Sunday, the IME public relations reported.

The industrial and mining trading floor featured 4,000 tons of copper cathode by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, with the base price of 195,348 rials per kg; 3,500 tons of copper wire, priced at 225,268 rials per kg; 30,000 tons of various types of low-grade copper; 100 tons of molybdenum sulfur, and 12 tons of precious metals concentrate. Moreover, 270 tons of copper wire with the base price of 203,065 rials was offered by World Copper Company. Esfahan Steel Company offered 20,000 tons of rebar bundles, while Kavir Steel Complex offered 9,240 tons of the same product.

Elsewhere, the oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to 29,300 tons of various grades of bitumen, 3,170 tons of petrochemicals, 7,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, and 5,000 tons of lube-cut oil. Finally, about 1,600 tons of bitumen, and 100 tons of roof insulation were listed on the export trading floor.

Overall, more than 132,000 tons of commodities were offered in IME’s spot market on the second working day of the week.
