Around 18,216 tons of various polymers from local petrochemical complexes were offered in a bustling day in Iran Mercantile Exchange’s oil and petrochemical trading floor on Monday, IME’s public relations and foreign affairs reported. Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, polyethylene, polystyrene, polypropylene, various grades of bitumen and granulated sulfur were among the polymers offered by local suppliers on the floor. Elsewhere, the export trading floor played host to 35,000 tons of bitumen, which was offered by Jey Oil Refining Company, along with 100 tons of roof insulation. Meanwhile, the industrial and mining trading floor featured 60 tons of copper wire, priced at 204,294 rials per kg as well as 10 tons of molybdenum sulfur offered by the National Iranian Copper Industrial Company. And finally 18,400 tons of corn was offered on the agricultural trading floor. Overall, 180,000 tons of various commodities were up for grabs at IME’s spot market during Monday trading.
