The first seminar on technological entrepreneurship and Venture Creation was hosted by the South Industrial Management Institute on Saturday in Shiraz. The main points at the seminar will be the development of private business ventures in the city along with aiding those who wish to create new types of digital and knowledge-based business. Other points of the event included the role of entrepreneurship and technological innovation in the creation of value and employment creation, the experiences and achievements of domestic entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship innovation, and creation of new enterprise strategies and knowledge of foundations. Speakers of the event included Mohammad Jafar Sadiq of Tehran University, Farbod Sadeghian, CEO of Noxel, and Mohsen Malayeri, CEO Avatech, among others. The entrepreneurship seminar is the first of its kind in recent Iranian history and looks to move wider than the narrow scope of just digital business creation, of which has been the main focus of new business creation.
