New Permits for Credit Institutions

Permits for three credit institutions shall be issued by the end of the current fiscal year (March 20), Hamid Tehranfar, Central Bank of Iran (CBI)’s deputy governor said. The three institutions are Arman, Noor, and Mehr Eqtesad Bank, Khabaronline reported. The CBI has all but finished processing applications for establishing new credit institutions, according to the official. Four other similar applications are undergoing the bureaucratic procedures, Tehranfar stated, adding that the results will be released in the coming weeks. The official named the four other institutions as Samen, Afzal Toos, Samen-al-Hojaj, and Mizan.
