Saturday trading at Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) was accompanied by the offering of about 152,681 tons of 33 types of commodities at the spot market, IME’s Public Relations and Foreign Affairs Office reported.

The agricultural trading floor recorded the offering of 54,040 tons of corn from local suppliers. In addition, 23,210 tons of chickpea, 200 tons of sugar, and 1,500 tons of frozen chicken were offered on the same floor. The oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to 30,631 tons of various petrochemical commodities from local petrochemical complexes to be traded by customers. Epoxy resin, styrene butadiene rubber, nitric acid, styrene monomer, hydrochloric acid, ammonium, paraxylene, polyethylene, toluene diisocyanate, caustic soda, and polyvinyl chloride were among the commodities offered by local petrochemical complexes. Furthermore, 30,300 tons of bitumen, and 1,500 tons of sulfur were offered on the same floor.

Elsewhere, close to 100 tons of roof insulation, as well as 1,500 tons of various grades of bitumen were offered on the export trading floor.
