Mining Loans

Following months-long negotiations, mining companies will be offered loans to optimize their fuel consumption, said director general of the mineral office of the ministry of industry, mine, and trade, Mohammad Fatemian. The official said the move will help mining companies to reduce their production costs and meet the standards set by the energy ministry, oil ministry, and the Iranian National Standards Organization. Energy recovery is a crucial issue in the mining industry. Several mining companies have already installed equipment in their production lines in order to use the excess thermal energies. Without mentioning when the loans will be offered, Fatemian urged the mining sector to form energy committees in their expert associations.
